International Missions Agencies

St. Andrew's works with many partners around the world but there are two internatioanal missions agencies located in the Charleston area, both of which have a long association with St. Andrew's.

Water Missions International

Water Missions International 's mission is to provide sustainable access to safe water and an opportunity to hear the "Living Water" message in developing countries and disaster areas.

Give the Gift of Safe and Living Water $10

Water Missions International matches the needs of each community they serve to the appropriate technology, while working with local churches and ministry partners to demonstrate the love and compassion of Christ. A gift of $10 can provide safe water to one person for a lifetime and the opportunity to hear the Living Water message.

Prevent Sickness with Safe Water Containers $25

Even after a community’s water is purified, by collecting and storing it in bacteria-ridden jerricans, the water becomes contaminated, thus continuing the cycle of waterborne illness. A gift of $25 can help Water Missions International provide families with clean storage containers which help maintain safe water for cooking and drinking needs.

Promote Good Health and Proper Hygiene $50

In addition to the lack of safe water for drinking and hand washing, many people around the world are unaware of the connection between proper hygiene and good health. A gift of $50 can help equip communities we serve with materials needed to learn life-saving health and hygiene practices.

Build a Latrine for a Family in Need $100

For two out of five people around the world, simple, sanitary restroom facilities are an unobtainable luxury. Your gift of $100 can help restore dignity and a healthier lifestyle for a needy family by sharing the cost of a sanitary pit latrine.

Help Hospitals Heal the Sick $500

Most hospitals and clinics in developing countries do not have the latest medical equipment, let alone safe water. Doctors and nurses in these communities must care for the sick utilizing only the most basic medical supplies, and sometimes safe water is not one of them. Patient wounds and medical tools are cleaned with dirty water, which only leads to further infection. Your gift of $500 can help share the cost of a safe water project for a hospital that will bring healing to the sick.
