We encourage all of our students in the 8th grade or older to participate in a spring confirmation class. Our goal in Confirmation is to...
- Connect students to a community,
- Confirm them in the faith given to them at baptism,
- Challenge them to translate that faith into the world around them.
This threefold goal of connect, confirm, and challenge is accomplished through a series of classes beginning at the end of January and running on consecutive Sunday afternoons until early May. Students participate in table groups lead by high school students who are themselves connected in an Impact life group.
Each year the class attends a weekend retreat in Walterboro for a fun time of connecting with God. The confirmation process is concluded by Testimony Night, where the students themselves giving a testimony to what Jesus has done in their lives and Confirmation Night.
