- Sometimes the Lord allows unpleasant - and at times, painful - circumstances to enter our lives.
- God's promise is to meet us in those moments.

- How do you reconcile suffering and the sovereignty of God?
- If God is loving why does He allow suffering?
- If God is all powerful why doesn't He forbid suffering?
- Why would God allow suffering?
- What is your story? How have you (have you?) found God in your suffering?
- Where are you now? A good place? A difficult place? In light of your circumstances, what is your response?
