Worship Matters

Worship Matters is your source for a great many resources related to worship at St. Andrew’s online. Many people have already appreciated the Songs of the Week resource and information about special events and Songwriter’s meetings, but Worship Matters will continue to grow, developing new features to encourage, inform, and equip our St. Andrew’s family and our community of friends throughout the world.

Features of Worship Matters

  • Songs of the Week > Updated each week, this is a listing of all the songs that were played in all our contemporary Celebrations each week. Each song listing includes the author’s name and a CD reference.
  • Events > This is where you will find information about concerts, exhibits, and other presentations, conferences, seminars, and worship arts courses.
  • Songwriter’s Group > The Songwriter’s Group meets every 5th Tuesday to share song material, work on that material together, and learn about the songwriting process. The group stays in touch and works together beyond those meetings.
  • Articles > A variety of articles about praise and worship, music, and worship arts will be expanded. Writings by St. Andrew’s authors as well as outside sources will be included.
  • Links > We will add links to other worship and arts related sites from time to time.
  • Blog > We are hoping to have a running blog accessible through Worship Matters.
  • Books and CDs > Books and CDs that relate to worship and the arts, leadership, etc. can be found here.
  • Testimonies > We want to have a running page of testimonies about the various ways people have been impacted in worship. We hear these stories word of mouth from time to time and would love to publish them here as they are so encouraging and faith building. If you have a short story to tell or a moment to share, please email them to us and we will upload them.

We hope that you will visit Worship Matters often and that the resources offered meet your needs and help you to grow in your understanding and expression of worship to Jesus Christ. If there are things you’d like to see added, please contact us.
